December 7, 2018 - CHRISTMAS PARTY - Members shared the joys of the season with good food, entertainment, and fellowship. 121 attended.

September 14, 2018 - Annual Fish Fry Social - MAC Fellowship Hall was the site of the Annual Fish Fry with a Western Theme. Delicious Food prepared by FBC Chef Greg Thurman as his last supper for FBC before moving to other career opportunities. Great Fellowship amid the outdoor decor with Vicki Miller providing enjoyable entertainment. A few "characters" were present to add to the amusement.

May 11, 2018 - "Family Feud" Social - Magnificent Mexican food catered by our own folks - Eva and Jimmy Gour. Delightful Desserts catered by our members. Dazzling Decorations by Gayle Jerden and helpers. And Exciting Entertainment with our own Emcee - Tom Oliver and a hilarious version of "Family Feud". A fun time was had by all. Special thanks to Brad Giesecke for his technical direction and the computer program.

December 1, 2017 - The Christmas Social was a great success with everyone looking elegant, enjoying good fellowship, eating delicious food, and being entertained with Christmas music by Jerry & Paula Stephens.

October 13, 2017 - Barnabas Dept. had a great Fish Fry with delicious food and toe-tapping, country gospel music provided by our very own FBC-Garland folks in the Pack Saddle Gospel Band.

June 2, 2017 - We enjoyed a "Fifties Night" social complete with letter jackets and poodle skirts. There were many high school yearbooks displayed. The highlight of the evening was each one telling a few memories of their high school years. It was a great time of sharing and learning about each other's "early years."

Dec, 2 2016 - Christmas Party It was requested new baby clothing be provided so Kay Christian could place in a layette, and it would be handed out to new mothers at the Friendship House. A photo of the clothing is seen in one of the photos.

We had 164 in attendance, the largest social event of the Barnabas Department to date.

For the entertainment, we had Shannon Bunch.

Barnabas Fishfry 10/12/2016

The Barnabas class had it's annual fish fry, but it was held in the MAC this time. For entertainment, The Country Boys sang.

There were over 130 in attendance.

The Barnabas Department had a recent social. This was a BBQ meal with a western flair added.

The entertainment was provided by Early Country. This is a band with church members Howard Johnson and Johnny Ahrens as part of the group.

04-15-16 At the Social last night, we had a guest entertainer. His name is Shannon Bunch.

He made an excellent performance. We had good time singing and humor from him.
